Thread: MSN Messenger Opens on Startup

Hi - I have installed MSN Messanger and starts up each time I start the computer - it is not in the folder of programs that are supposed to start up.

Any ideas on how to stop this starting up each time - is so annoying.

Also - firefox disconnects when the screensaver comes on - but not IE - anyideas as I prefer firefox but it it keeps getting cut off I will have to go back to IE.

G'day Garry, to stop messanger doing that go into your options, click the preferences tap and uncheck the box marked Run Windows messanger when windows starts and accept the changes, this should stop it.
