    always pondered how many self inflicted deaths creative were responsible for... must be a few over the years....

    I gave up on them a while ago now, onboard sound is more than sufficient for gaming and what I use it for.

    I had similar issues when running XP 64bit. In the end the 64 bit drivers wouldnt work so I managed to use 32 Drivers. Best thing to do once u get it running ghost it, I did and now never have the problems again
