Thread: Annoying pop-up web pages

I got pop ups a while ago, running Firefox and having the pop up blocker. I went to add/remove programs and found a couple of programs that had snuck in there that generated these adds. I removed them and all was okay. If you find something on your add/remove list and you don't know what it does, google it and you'll soon find the malware programs.

Firefox will stop most but i used to crap cleaner to clean up and since using Avast have never had a problem with popups or virus's.
