    Transfer time?

    I want to move a 7.5GB file to a remote USB drive.

    any thoughts on how long this should take?

    windows is saying 144 minutes (and counting,,,)

    should be usb2,
    when I plug the drive into my D-link USB hub it tells me the drive is hi-speed but the hub isnt,,
    at the moment its plugged into the M/B
    still saying 2 hours---
