OZIExplorer 3.95.4 and UBD 2007 maps

    Hi guys,

Have a copy of UBD2007 and Oziexplorer 3.95.4 here at work for one of the roadworks guys and I can't figure out how to get the maps from UBD into Oziexplorer. OZiexplorer seems to take allot of files but the UBD ones are in CMP format.

had a bit of a google without luck - but I am sure someone will point out the tickbox or simple menu item I missed!!

best place to try would be the Australian Oziexplorer page, it may have links to what you need.

yeah I know that but one poor assumption is the two products came from the same source and therefor accept the same file types. Plus I cant find much on the net at all about my issue. Sent an email to the oziexplorer guys

    easy...

scan the page(s) required. into .jpg and load them up in ozi. (or load them up in windoze and hit ALT-PRINT SCREEN then paste the image into a photo editor then save as .jpg)

On the UBD pages are map reference points.

Load the .jpg up in ozi as a map image and then select the calibrate map option. select all those points and then tell ozi where they are and save the calibration file to the same place as the .jpg.

    viola ubd maps in ozi.
