    Eop

    Anyone here using EOP networking devices at home ? I have a wifi modem/ router which is great for the laptop and pc but where my spare pc (linux) is i only get a weak signal, the netcomm eop adapters look like a good idea ?

    I assume you're talking about using those adapters to put the network through your power points?

    If so, then I have absolutely no experience with them!

    However, I do know that they are a bit particular about which power circuit they're on.

    I'd consider seeing what (if any) improvement could possibly be gained from fiddling with the position of the wireless router (especially the antennas).
    I also think for the cost of a POE setup, a length of cat6 cable, or an external antenna for the pc or router (with sufficient cable to locate the antenna in a position with better reception) would be more appealing.

    I had a look at some of that EoP stuff the other day.

    Fast.

    But, it looked like it would be a similar price to buying another access point for your wireless.

    Or the cable.
