    New Flat Screen Monitors

If I was going to upgrade my old 3D block monitor for say a 19" - 22" flat screen monitor what brand would be a good and relible starting point.
I think I will just look at LCD screens.

I just got a new HP 24" at work. It's a bit dodgy honestly, but it's great to have real estate

Without spending a lot of money, Samsung is probably the best. They also make the screens for Sony and a lot of others. If you want it for games or video make sure it is fast response (<8ms). Go for high contrast and high brightness screens to give you the best picture. Also watch the resolution, 22" look at anything offering 1680x 1050. Also if you're PC is old and doesn't have DVI output get a monitor that has both VGA and DVI
