Thread: Phone pics to Aulro HOW?

Does your phone have Bluetooth? Or
Did it come with any software to allow tranfer of pics to PC?

I used to be able to transfer from my phone to the laptop via a cable but Ive had to change phones and now I cant and it annoys the crap out of me.

If you know someone that is more in the know than you then you could just send them to them.

To up load my huts pics to the huts web site I used to just take the whole lap top to GB's house and he'd just transfer them over that way.

Easy.

I have the cable and a disc that come with it, I already loaded the disc, plugged the phone in, waited, swore, unplugged phone and here we are, maybe easier if I use the camera I think

Have you restarted the puter, sometimes it helps.

Ive also found that I had to go into the pics folder on the phone before it would connect but when I reloaded it a second time it worked properly.

Mine used to take about 5 mins to connect the phone though it told me it was uploading everything on the phone.

I will give it another go in the morning, if no good will just crack out the camera and have a go

I run Win98 so when I plug in peripherals, it doesn't automatically pick it up.
When your phone is plugged in, it may display it in MS Explorer as an external drive i.e. E: or F: (this is how mine displays)

So not knowing how new or old your system is, try going to My Computer and look for an external drive you didn't have before. It it's there, just navigate (click) through the folders until you find the photos.

If this doesn't work, um, as asked before, does your phone have Bluetooth?

Oh, does the phone software actually run on your system - does it start? Perhaps you need to open the software then connect the phone.
