I can just imagine all the gamers rushing out to buy this "new" motherboard; don't go showing them the Quad CPU Xeon boards

Those Zalman <-spelling? coolers look a bit odd, I look at a lot of these snazy new coolers and wonder if they are actually any better?

About two/three years ago a friend of mine changed his OEM intel fan for one of those cylinder type heatsinks with a fan top and bottom.
End result, slightly louder and looked really good.
A bit like an Apple laptop

I use one of those Zalmans coolers in my PC.. they are quieter and keep the cpu cooler.

That's good. Cooler is always better!

I wasn't referring to that exact cooler the one I saw looked the same but was a vertical cylinder blowing down instead of horizontal blowing across.

Being the tight Ar$* I am I just mounted a standard 80mm fan with cable ties so it blows down above the Northbridge heatsink and across the top of the standard Intel OEM fan/sink.

I really was amazed at the difference. Previously the sinks, (Northbridge mainly) where too hot to touch for long maybe 5 seconds? now they are quite cool, hardly even the temperature of tepid water.
