you can boot into your bootcamp partition or use parallels to run your boot camp partition in a window on your osx desktop.
Very early next week I'm going to be the proud owner of a nice new 24" iMac. Decided to move to the Mac as I've finally got the *&^%'s with Windows and I only need a PC for Internet, Photography and a bit of word processing and publishing. Don't worry I don't believe the iMac will resolve all my issues, it is still underneath it all, just a computer.
I'll still have a Windows notebook for RovaCom and RAVE etc when traveling Would still like it on my desktop though and I was wondering, can I read the RAVE pdf's under the Mac OS. Obviously I can't run RAVE.exe without an interpretor shell. What do others do? Has someone built a Mac version?

Jees Incisor,
I'm glad that you said that.
Best Wishes,
Thanks Inc, but I was kind of nievely hoping bootcamp might not be necessary. Wish there was a decrypted version of RAVE pdf's out there![]()

Did this get sorted out in the end? I'm trying to read Rave on my Mac, too![]()
It is available to run on a Mac, I have version 20 which states on the opening screen that it is the last RAVE update. I had the disk mailed to me from god knows where.
I'll have a look for it Tombie & see what I can do.
BTW is this any use? I haven't been through the site, it requires registering which I've done & can be found here http://www.landrovertechinfo.com
RAVE HELP - Technical Service Information
RAVE
RAVE has been the primary vehicle for the distribution of Land Rover Technical
Information to the franchise dealership network. Since the introduction of the CD
based solution, technology and legislation have moved on. RAVE no longer meets
the demanding requirements of the automotive service industry and so it is being
replaced by an online technical information system known as the Global Technical
Reference (GTR).
Global Technical Reference (GTR)
Overview
GTR provides access to Land Rover technical information using Internet technology.
It provides a number of advantages over RAVE, including;-
• Improve availability – 'round the clock' access, using any standard Internet
technology.
• Reduce 'time to market' for important information; such as product fix details –
hence improving Land Rover repairers ability to 'Fix-it-right-first-time'.
• Reduce the cost and complexity of distribution – CD distribution will be phased
out in most markets during 2004.
• Adhere to new European and North American legislation requiring Technical
Information to be made public.
Content
GTR includes the following information for Land Rover models dating back to 1995;
• Workshop Manuals
• Electrical Reference Library
• Circuit Diagrams
• Technical Bulletins
• Service Actions
• Recall Actions
• Body and Paint Repair Manuals
As GTR is developed over the coming months, additional material will be added.
