    JPEG slideshow

I have 922mb of images my parents took while in China last September and i want to make a slideshow that can be played on a home DVD player, tried using Nero but i have to select each image one at a time. Any suggestions for another program to use ?

    regards,
    Nick.

If you don't want anything fancy to happen I think our DVD player will just run a slideshow from a disc full of JPGs.

Try Microsoft Photostory 3. It is free to download from Microsoft and is very easy to use. It will do what you want with a bulk import as well as easily allow you to add music, titles etc.

    Hate Nero
Always off on a tanjent, looking for updates, register here there & everywhere / drove me insane

I don't use it but ... Have you tried the "properties" bar of nero (right mouse click or on the top of screen) .. there should be a setup area for how it moves to the next picture
ie.. mouse click ... timed .. etc

or just use "microsoft power point"

    cheers

    Loanrangie;

I use Photo2VCD , I find it easy to use , it allows you to archive your favorite digital photos into DVD/VCD compatible MPEG files with background music and up to 127 transition effects.

Photo2VCD Studio 3 3.0.1.30 - Free Download. Create your own photo slide shows on DVD and VCD with powerful selection menu.

    It's freeware.

Most DVD players these days will read JPEG files off a CD or DVD and show them as a slideshow - no special program needed. ( our cheapo LG one does it fine )

Another one worth trying is 'ProShow Gold'
Available online for free trial or purchase for about $80
Put my Madigan trip photos on and by using various transitions, zooming etc people have mistaken it for a movie.

A brilliant program even if it does cost.

    Thanks NM
I'm looking forward to seeing your 'graphs when you return from your Madigan Trip this year.

I might exchange some of the Canadian Rockies and Alaska with you.
