    itunes to windows movie maker

G'day all, I'm trying to put some music from itunes onto a movie I'm making with windows movie maker, but cannot get the itunes music on to it.

How do I make this happen?

Im a apple mac guy--- but if it purchased itunes music--then you cant do it. you need an MP3 version of the songs to import to Movie maker or any other video editing software. What songs do you want.

True. If however it's music you imported from a CD you can convert it within iTunes from the default AAC format to MP3 by right-clicking on the song title and selecting the convert to MP3 option.

I ended up burning a CD with itunes and then ripping it to windows media player. Works ok but only if you want loads of CDs.

Just google AAC to MP3 converter or AAC to WMA converter There are a number of free utilities.

Just to clarify, you know where the iTunes library music files live on the hard drive? If you already have them ripped in MP3 you can directly import them from their respective folder.

iTunes will rip to MP3, just change the import format to MP3 and then copy the song within iTunes and it will create an MP3 duplicate of the song.
