    Hyperlink problems

When I receive emails from N.R.M.A. showing the hyperlinks to different sites, the hyperlink is split over two lines and only the top line is in blue and underlined so I cannot access the site. To get to the site I have to cut and paste both lines into notepad and join them together and then it runs ok. I am using xp and Outlook. What is causing this problem and how do I fix it. Jim

Is it only NRMA emails you have a problem with? If so then it is likely related to the way NRMA embeds it hyperlinks into its emails.

Can you check that NRMA is sending you HTML emails & not just text emails? This could be an option that you specified when you signed up to receive them.

Cuz what sounds like is happening, is that you are receiving a text email. Your email software (eg Outlook, Gmail) is interpreting the first line correctly & automatically adding the hyperlink when it sees the http:// bit, but then it's breaking because NRMA have put a hard return between lines.

How to fix? Check with NRMA & get them to change your preferences to HTML email. Problem will go away.
