The case of the reappearing folder???

I have an empty folder on my desktop.

I deleted it a couple of weeks ago. (And every day since)

Every time I restart, it reappears? No data just the empty folder.

It was nothing important just one I made to hold a few pics.

What do I have to do to permanently delete it?

If it keeps coming back then it is either something at startup causing it to be recreated or part of your profile. If it is part of your profile, do you log off before shutting down? If not, try doing so and then se what happens. If its something at startup try googling the folder name and see if there is any information.

It's just a folder that I made to put some pics in when I sold my nudgebar on ebay a month ago. (It's called "nudgebar" - but I don't think that is relevant ).

I'll try that log off idea. Thanks dm_td5!

    go to

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
if its in the desktop folder delete it from there, if not restart your computer in safe mode, (press F8 repeatedly while your computer restarts) delete the folder then restart your computer again.
    should get rid of it.

Select the folder on your desktop (single left click), let go, hold down the shift key, select it again and press the Delete key. Press the OK button. This should erase it permanently.
Do a restart on your PC and check if it still exists. If it does, what is it's name?
