    not a Landy question I want to copy a Ruthy dvd to my I Pod

    Hi All,
    I am off to Moreton next month on the annual father son trip, and i am keen to copy a few of my 4WD Monthly DVD'S onto my I Pod. We have a newish apple computer and I am not having much luck, Does anyone know how I can copy it, say to my desk top. Then drag it into my I Tunes and on my I Pod any help would be great.

    I have a Macbook and I downloaded HandBrake and used it to convert my DVDs to MP4 (follow the instructions in Handbrake) and save them to my desktop. You can then drag them into iTunes as they are in the correct format for your iPod/iPhone.

    And a vote from me for Handbrake too. I use it on Linux and XP and have done exactly that, ripped a 4wd Action DVD to iPod. It's dead simple.

    handbrake is good (I have it on the EEE) but the wife has trouble with it on the windows PC's. We use DVDfab 6 on the windows boxes. When you convert be careful which format you pick as some arent Ipod compatable.

    Hi Guys,
    Thanks for the help and i like the way it may work out with hand brake especially seeing old mate Ruthy calls his mrs the hand brake but which one do i down load and what's the difference between the (32bit) or (64 bit which is better,
