    Free decent wysiwyg HTML editor?

    Hi Guys

im just creating a website for our new business. Im currently using trellian but it seems to just keep padding all sorts of random crap to the code.

Is there any others that you would suggest? i particularly need css file support or the ability for it to be able to deal with embedding fonts...

    Thanks

    Steve

Not a good suggestion on a public site. Perhaps a more appropriate suggestion is to visit the Adobe site and download an evaluation of Dreamweaver... if you like it, buy it.

For free/Open Source WYSIWYG stuff, visit http://sourceforge.net/search/'type_...&words=wysiwyg

    Thanks guys..

i would like open source if i can... Trellian gets close but seems to have plenty many bugs which are show stoppers... code deletion is one of them!

i do have a copy of dreamweaver 8... but was hoping for something a little easier as i am having to re-learn...

Linux is not an option for me as i use the systems for HTPC stuff as well as CAD workstation... also SWMBO would have a fit if i moved to linux...

    Any other free suggestions?

    Thanks

    Steve

I don't think Kompozer KompoZer - Easy web authoring has been updated in quite a while but I still play with it sometimes if I need to do HTML or PHP stuff.

Best thing is that it is free... if you like it, do the right thing and make a donation to the project.

    Cheers, Paul.
