Now this is a neat bit of software!

This is an intriguing bit of software for Macbook's. It turns the trackpad into a tablet. I downloaded the demo and whilst it isn't that great with a finger as the stylus, I suspect it would be very good with a pen. I have never seen anything like it before and I wonder if there's also a Windows one by someone else, trackpads being all pressure sensitive.

It would be as I haven't seen a Windows Laptop with a trackpad half as good as the Macbook Pro's!

Strangely I'm yet to see a trackpad on a windows machine that is more than 50% the size of the ones on the macbooks. They may be out there, but if they are there aren't many of them. So I doubt this would have an application on a PC unless it is for a tablet the size of a postage stamp

Cheers for that... never heard of it before but will grab it for some testing on photo retouching

Looks like you need the Pogo pen they sell to work with the trackpad on the MBP. I've just tried it with the pen from my Wacom Intuos tablet and it would work. Finger's a little clumsy (well mine are).

I'm really keen to see if this works well though as it would be a great portable tablet for photo editiing on the 13" MBP when travelling.

Well I jumped in and bought a Pogo Sketch (from eBay as postage was a lot better) and also bought an activation code for Inklet. I think I was being gadget deficient and needed a fix.

Anyway, it all works very well. The trick is to set the trackpad area to cover the area to edit on the photo. For the money it will definitely do for editing on the road where a bit more than finger control is needed. It's certainly no Wacom Tablet but I think it's actually good value for money.
