my D1 is modified..although up until I fitted the flares 2 weeks ago I dont think you could rally tell
Have to agree, it takes a lot to make a Land Rover look hardcore, with the bling bling Japanese models all you need is a front bar to take away their soft looks!

Send me some pics trobbo and I can have a think about it - if it's really cool we might be open to doing a single feature for one of the mags if you're interested. nic@4wdaction.com.au

Well, as I said in my PM to you, fairly standard. 2" lift & 31" AT's are just about all the mods I have that will get me further offroad (oh, and a pair of decent front recovery points after my last trip broke my factory bar) Plus the fridge slide, UHF, Stereo, dual battery system e.t.c. to make life more comfortable.
Also, I noticed in the magazines feature on buying used Disco's it was mentioned that the Rosignols only came as auto, mine's a factory five speed manual.

I'd love to come, I've yet to see the D3 offroad, let alone the D4.

pics sent. just remember what you are trying to compare.

a modded D1 up against a stock D2, D3, D4 probably wont be that interesting. A modded D1 & modded D2 with the D3, D4 may be of more interest.
