    Rear axle seal

    Hey all just wondering if anyone has the part no for the rear inner axle seal (behind the disc)

    Also are they the same as the fronts and can they be converted to oil feed.

    Its a 92 disco

    This is for up to VIN JA032850, which I assume a 92 would be.

    Seal number 11 (I think that's what you want) is FTC4785.

    The same part number appears for the front and rear axles.

    I would have thought a 92 would be oil already, didn't they change to grease in 96?
    If you have grease anyway, with the right seals you should be able to use oil I would think.

    Yes it has but in my search I could not find out wether the front and rear seals were the same or maybe I missed it all together otherwise I would not have posted the question

    Try RTC3511 double lipped seal for oil filled bearings.
