Hi landover I just fitted the 50mm spacers to the standard springs all i could afford at the time. And it still rides the same as it did befor i put them in. hope that helps.
My Disco has 2" lift springs, no extra spacers, with 245/75/16s, no guard rubbing at all - but did have to extend the front bump stops slightly to prevent rubbing on the inside suspension at full lock. Otherwise are a good fit. This site Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing has a tyre size calculator where you can compare all dimensions side by side.

i have 2 inch spacers for the coils , doing 2 inch spring and ditching the coil spacers.. going to fo a 2 inch BL also as i have just done a massive cut and flares.. looking at 35s... just got to get the correct offset rim i belive.
i noticed i had 235/70 tyres on my disco the other day. i always assumed they were standard because of the rims. if i can fit the 235 width on that rim, does that mean that technically i can fit 235/85 to the same rims?
i thought that i couldnt fit 235/85 to standard rims and would have to buy steels or summit different.
i dont mean camel cutting and bump stops etc. i know all that stuff may need to be done but all i mean is actually fit the tyres onto those standard rims.
this is a pic of mine id say these are d1 rims?
thanks.
They'll fit no worries, that's the size we have on ours.
Here you go Fausto79,
A pic of mine when changing from Steels back to Alloys.
Both rims have 235/85s on them but different makes and tread patterns.
Cheers,
Rez
Thanks for the pic, looks really good. Has it got camel cut? I cant really tell i just woke up. Also it looks lifted. What sort of kit is it? I like the awning too, i always wondered how to do it on a disco with the uneven roof.

Hi guys,
Yes its got a 2" lift. Dobinsons/Bilstein/Coil Rite setup.
Has camel cut on both front and rear guards and also had to cut and cut the front ends of my sliders.
Sorry about the Camo paint pics, it was in arvo sun and shadows but was the only one I had showing Steel vs Alloy.
Attached is a better pic of just alloys but the size I had to make it to be an attachment still make it too hard to see camel cuts.
Thanks,
Rez
