    Dicky LH indicator switch

    '95 facelift.

Left turn indicator intermittently does not return to off after completing the 90* turn. I seem to recall from somewhere, something about a plastic lug breaking off. ???????

Is this a known problem? Can it be repaired, or do I ditch it & fit a new replacement? Obviously, a S/H one could also have a short life.

    Recommended suppliers?

    Thank you.

The better is to replace it with a new one, here is an example Google Traducir

Another mate has cut a short piece of 1" Air pressure hose, copied the shape of the broken part, and pressed into the driving wheel axe. This has done well its work, too.

I pulled my RRC one apart, whcih I think is probably the same switch as I had a similar problem of but mine would not lock on.
There is a tiny brass roller inside which rolls over a cam to lock on and if the grease dries out it seizes and becomes square and doesn't roll any more.
I bought a new switch a couple of years ago and no further problem.
