They said the master cylinder was stuffed and have been waiting on a (sensibly priced) replacement for a week - the first one they got shipped had been dropped and was damaged.
I guess the seals will automatically be done when they replace the master cylinder...
What amazed me was the speed with which it dropped a whole cylinder of brake fluid - ok one day and all gone the next (seriously - I checked the fluid on Friday and on Saturday morning it was all gone) - I'm just glad it didn't happen at 110km/h on the freeway!
The wheel rubbing thing - glad mine isn't the only one that does it - on mine the front tyres rub on the suspension arm at full lock. Scary the first time it happened, now it simply turns heads in car parks.
