according to this a 300 tdi head should fit

There has been mention on other forums about fitting a 300Tdi head. I believe that its more involved than just a head swap though though due to the differences in the injectors and the combustion chambers in the pistons.

This info might be of assistance: 300Tdi cylinder head in 200Tdi block, can it really be done?

I'm a bit wary of the "Minor Modification" bit.
Do I have to grind the poop out of it with a Dremmel to make it fit or is it simply a matter of Thermostat housing , Injectors etc?

The rockers and shaft looked totally different when I had my two Tdi's back to back topless.

I can't see how fitting 300Tdi injectors would work either because their at a different angle and the chambers are different. Maybe a phone call to Graeme Cooper to clarify what they mean on their site.

Well normally I would have recommended these guys... But it would appear that they do not do a remake of the 200tdi head.. However, I am sure that if you emailed them and asked the question they would be more then willing to help you out.
