    need advice

    Hi have got a 96 v8 disco and want to install dual batteries so need to move the coil and power steering bottleand just want to know if there would be a drama with mounting the coil on its side?Have seen where others have installed on the guard but am a bit worried about the heat from the exhaust whether i would do damage any ideas thanks zacc

    If you don't have ABS behind the air box is a good spot. It's mounted horizontally (on it's side) and no problems. If you haven't seen any pictures of this I might be able to find some somewhere. Should be lots of pictures if you do a search. Other places are on the inner guard behind the turret or the fire wall.

    To extend the power steering you can extend a bracket out beside the airbox or screw it to the top bolts of the power steering pump.
