    New to Disco

    Hi ppl
    Im new to the Landy Land and i was after a small piece of info if i may,

    Im looking to lift my 97 disco 2" and have been serching the forum for a definitive answer on the question of.

    If i lift it 2" do i need to extend the brake lines?

    I know this may have been covered in a previous topic but i can not seem to find it anywhere.

    Up to 2" no need to touch the brake lines, 2 + you will need to.

    most "2 inch lifts" use a fairly standard length shock. So say you use a ARB, TJM, EFS or one of the major brand 'lifts' then you dont need to worry about brake lines.

    If you use a 2 inch raised coil with an uber long shock ie procomp which will dislocate the rear coils, then you will need to extend the rear brake line.
