    D1 Camper, possible?

Had an idea kicking around in my head of getting a D1 and chopping the back of the body off behind the front seats then stretch the chassis say to 130 inch. Now the clever bit, get hold of one of those old Holden ute camper conversion bodies (or the Mazda/Ford small ute) and somehow graft the camper body onto the Disco chassis. Now I have seen a couple of tandem rear axle Holden campers around so that could be another trick to look at. A
6x6 Disco Camper sounds very cool. Remember to send all royalties to me as you read it first hear, I hope.
Any one clever enough with Photoshop is welcome to knock some photos together.

I have seen a few fibreglass ambulance bodies off ford falcon utes go pretty cheap and it crossed my mind that they would make a good camper body.
