    I guess you missed the part of the thread where I mentioned that I was OK for the 36mm wrench (same size as some early Falcon fan hubs - easily obtainable), it was the holding still that was the problem.

    And Blknight.aus certainly came up with a good list of suggestions of how to hold the waterpump pulley still in the absence of the "official" holding tool LRT-12-093, which is not so easy to get hold of.

    I replaced the viscous fan hub about two week ago got talking with the old mechanic down the road and he did hes apprentiship with landrover and he told me to give the old one a wack with a chisel it loosened straight away and he said to put a little bit of lock tight on it when putting it back on
