I WANT AN OLD GIRL
Well iv lost my rite to drive for six months since I can't help but get caught using my phone while driving anyway I'm thinking that I should spend all my spare time working on a 4x4 since I can't drive it and I would realy like an old landy nothing specific just something old with character and I'm prepared to trade my 97tdi disco 5spd man with lift kit winch bar duel batteries 12 months vic reg sunnys and lots more anyway if anyone is keen let me know cheers

hey mate distance isnt realy an issue for me as i work in the transport industrie..that 1 on ebay looks awsome but i dont have room for another car so id have to either sell the disco to buy something else or trade it but as there isnt realy any issues with the disco if i cant find something old to trade it for ill just spend the next 6 months modding the d1

hehehe i think you are right looks like il start tearing the disco apart... now i need some advice my plans are replace 2 gaskets that are weaping do wheel bearings (not noisy just wanna make sure) give her a full service rear storage system of some sort and install some rear tvs for the kids and of coarse retrim the headliner...... now my question is are there any "known" problems that i should get on top of first i dont wanna do all this work then realise i should have spent my money on new axles as there like butter sticks or something along those lines...

Probably put aside a few dollars for a hands free kit as well.
