    manual box oil

    what do you guys use? autobox oil like the factory says or something else.
    havent changed mine before but it is due and has a full dealer history before i got it.
    what would you recommend?

    If pre update (to 1994), then LT77 trans req ATF Dex3 . If later (1994 on) with R380 trans, then 75w85 gear oil, (I use Valvoline Duragear) is better. You can still use ATF in R380 in early 1995 models, but I find all R380's respond well to the 75W85.

    Use caltex syntrans 75w/85. Its full synthetic.

    my r380 runs syntrans, lotsa info about this on this site,
