Thanks for that info crackerjack. I've got one coming to Aus as well so that really helped, I'm just going to get an engineers cert.

Not sure what the fuss is either, if you want to make sure you don't give your insurance an excuse not to pay up then get an engineers cert.

Unlike the UK we don't have an annual vechical inspection (at least in WA we don't) so the risk of getting caught or the insurance company knowing what is ADR approved and what isn't is very slim. Most owners don't bother then find out later what the consequences are.

Rovacraft stock X-Eng parts. So I'm going through them, it's going over the high seas so won't be here for a few months.

Sorry, but I do mind.... I'm a bit funny like that. No offense meant

Only thing I can suggest is you phone them up and get a quote. The exchange rate is very good at the moment, but shipping is the killer.

During the conversation it was mentioned that the unit comes in 2 boxes, 1 long thin one for the half shaft part and the rest in a squarish box, freight is a killer, you have to shop around, have you thought about arranging your own to have it picked up from them, just a thought, remember every hand it goes through adds their margin, and with X-Eng, they are the manufacturer.

I've gone the basic option and paid for a set of Aedo Fabrication disconnects.

Looks nice and simple. I'll report back once they land and I've tested them.

    Rez
