    Starting issues

My Disco has started to give me issues with starting again.
Only 6k ago i had to have a new MAF unit fitted and new complete fuel sender and pump. it was all set up on a 4x4 dyno and ran and started like a dream, now in the last few weeks its has started to not want to start, now i know it has a spark and has fuel. Also when it does start it revs high for a few seconds and idles, before i take it back to garage under warranty, could i be missing something simple. Leads, coil, cap , rotor were all replaced in feb.

The same thing happened to me. I had it running great after doing all the things you listed and found the coil faulty, replaced it with a second hand one and all good for 6 months. A couple of weeks ago it started missing and then finaly would not fire. I just replaced the coil again with a new aftermarket one and looks ok at the moment. I with have to take it out for a run to test though.
    Cheers, David.

Coil is a new Lucas one, seems to be ok, has a good cracking spark to the body, its starting today as normal, but it seems to be running at high revs for about 10 seconds before it drops down.
