    engine flush

    need to do the oil on my disco 3.5 and was thinking of putting liqui moly engine flush through it good or bad idear?

    I tried it on my mums car and didn't see any improvement or non benefit.
    I just think I wasted the $12. It only stays in the oil for 10 mins, you can't leave it any longer. Others may say different

    yer i have been reading comments on other sites and some say no it eats seals and other like the stuff, lol oh well think i will just flip a coin

    Why not got to Woolies or K-Mart and buy some of thier cheap engine oil and filter, run it for a day, drop the oil and filter and put the good (expensive) oil in, Regards Frank.

    try the engine flush from Cost Effective Maintenance - it cured the noisy lifter in my car
