simple issue?
Hi all, I noticed yesterday that my indicator on the ps wing has stopped working. I have just gone to change the bulb only to find that this isn't the problem. Is there anything I can check easily before getting an electrical bod to look into it.
Cheers
Phil

I will presume you have changed the globe & again it does not want to work.
If so..
Then check the connections, sometimes the pins corrode &/or break.
Grab a 12v tester to make sure you have the voltage at the connection.
You may just have to replace the holder as it may have corroded away.
From memory they are a 5w wedge type globe, Just spread the wire on the globe (both sides) a little so they make a good connection when inserted into the holder.

I had a similar issue with the rear tail light, there was power there at the socket and globe was fine well the element was. But the base of the globe was worn and not making a good contact, so i would do the same as what sniegy has written if not already with a volt meter, check pins in the socket and compare with the otherside and if in doubt try a different globe.

Give the bulb socket and contact point a good clean, maybe corroded, make sure the spring behind the contact still has some tension, Regards Frank.
