    Discovery Windscreen

    Finally got round to do the screen on the Discovery today.
    A learning curve......
    The tool with the wire is to cut the urathane. Fiddley job.

    Hearing stories about rust i was a bit concerned. A 98 model with original
    screen, But absolutly no rust.

    He showed me how to put the urathane on properly.
    How he gets it to stand up so not to spread out too mutch.

    The trick is not to let the sealer go across the channel as there will no where for the water to go and the dirt will build up and rust

    Plastic/Rubber Trim

    did you use the orignal trim around the new screen or did you have to get new ones?

    I was lucky the original mouldings / trim were still soft and reuseable.
    only had to get some double sided tape for the outer trim.......
