My preference is an Auto locker in the rear and manual up front, if the vehicle doesn't have a rear LSD, if a LSD is fitted from the factory id leave that there.
My thoughts are the same, part time of full time 4WD.
I think a front locker is a good investment if you intend to go off road regularly on tracks that are more challenging than usual, many times ive needed the extra traction upfront, especially on steep/loose inclines.
