    i should have put more details in and not just a thread link.. sorry..

    mark a line from the end of the wheel arch on the rear guard 6cm's in.. then draw a line from that point midway up the wheel arch to complete a round arch...

    then you can buy some flares online to cover your cuts, or just leave it...

    notably i am yet to do it.. but i cant afford my lift or wheels yet.. eventually i will

    Theoretically, would a 265/75 be more likely to rub on the inner gaurd than a 235/85 ? When the tyre tucks into the gaurd, the axle would rotate slightly, yes???

    Sorry, poorly worded. I really meant the axle would tilt slightly , rather than rotating through the diff.

    Possibly, but it would depend on the offest of the rims

    I have a set of 245/75/16 BFG muddies on my disco 1 with a 2" suspention lift and the rears just rub inside under awsome articulation.
