Finally had 235/85 bfg muds f&b last W/end.
Could,nt wait any longer for 265/75 & on the reco of most here, together with the thought of a narrower profile possibly having less rubbing issues, on they went.
I already have a Camel cut & a 2" spring lift but discovered that my ARB bullbar due to misalignment was causing rubbing on the drivers side. This was noticable within 500m from home. I have bent the wing far enough in to eliviate this but think Ill get the grinder out, just to make sure.
First impressions, fantastically quiet on the road & no need to adjust the steering stops. Athough driven only on the flat, no noticable decrease in perfofmance except the SLIGHTEST & i MEAN SLIGHTEST, on take off.
So far very impressed, cant wait to go bush!
Getting BFG muds of these sizes in Melb was a real test of my patience, but the wait is now over.
Tyres were purchased from Wide tread in Ferntree gully at $300 each f&B.
I thought their service & advice was excellent!
Cheers Dean.
