the boys running in the mud larks up in darwin use a 12v on board air compressor drill and glue a fitting into the dizzy both diffs and the starter motor - positive pressure keeps the water out. I was going to do this until i decided that it would just be easier to stop trying to use the old girl as a submarine.

on my mates MK patrol, we get one big fat handful of grease and dump it over the dizzy everytime we go out in the wet. dont look pretty but it does the job heaps better than the sprays / rubber gloves etc haha. a bead of silicone around the bottom of the cap often helps too
