A LR dealer can supply you with the key code for your car.
Then a decent locksmith will be able to cut you a new key using that code.

What model Disco.
If a D1, you will have to get a blank and take it to a locksmith and get it cut.
The Disco 1 key blank part number is CWE10032L.
By the way, bimbos at bunnings key cutting station will not cut it, I tried and all I got was I'm not very experienced and if I stuff it up blah blah blah.
Took it to a shopping centre key cut booth , no probs and $10 for both sides( Thats on My supplied BlanK)

I found most of the shopping cenre key cutters only had brass blanks (the key cutters were a bit blank too) which did not appear to last 5 minutes. I eventually went to a locksmith who made me a key for a D1 using a steel blank. My key has a very narrow section where the brass blanks would break. I used to carry a spare key in my wallet but the new steel key has lasted well over 3 times the life of the brass one. So spend the extra and get a locksmith cut key.
Thank guys. on my key there is a letter and number code. is that the key code or is it just the style of blank?
Obviously im not going to display the code on here
but it has 2 letters 2 numbers then 2 letters
Just been through this myself. Rang dealer with vin, got code. Walked around to my local locksmith, and had a new key blank supplied and cut for the pricy sum of $10.
