Disco lift - Tyres + springs = 2"
Hi all,
i have to take my car over the pits next week (stupidly let my rego run out).
anyway i have a spring lift (supposedly 2") and larger tyres on my car 245/75/16's (equates to 0.75" lift).
I have a bulbar and dual batteries so that may help to lower it a bit.
I believe in WA you are only allowed a total of 2" increase in height of the vehicle - does anyone know what the measurement from the ground to the top of the wheel arch is for a stock 98 disco? (or any other measurement so i can see if im over 2" total?
I couldnt find anything in the owners manual or on the RAVE CD.
Thanks, Steve

Sorry I can't help with measurements.....just have to say, I feel lucky to live in NZ where we don't have to worry so much about the lift.....I have 3" sus lift (2" RR springs, gave the disco a 3" lift) and run 33" tyres and get a wave from the local cop
Plus get a WOF aswell without being certified

you need to get on to WA's version of MVR - they must have a web site and get the correct information directly from the source.
worst case scenario, find a simpathetic wreakers and see if you can borrow some standard tyres while you take it over the pits
