    95 Discovery fan resistor pack

Can someone help or at least point me in the right direction?

95 Disco v8. Aircon fan only works on No. 4.
Replaced the switch as I needed to replace the dash fascia and the replacement one came with a fan switch but still nothing on 1, 2 and 3.

So I'm thinking it must be the fan resistor.

Where is the resistor located? Passenger footwell by the fan housing?

Anyone bought one recently, what do they go for?

    Thanks
    Ryan

Behind the glovebox, in the air duct. It has a 'T' shaped plug with 3 wires.

My RAVE manual shows the resistor in the duct between the air intake/recirculate box and the main heater box, behind the glove box. Looks easy to get at. Just drop the lid right down.

    Thanks for the input.

Pulled the resistor out and the one copper tab/spring thingy had come unstuck at the solder. So soldered it back to together and now I have all 4 fan speeds back.

What a pleasure now I'm not either roasting or freezing.

Don't you just love repairs that don't cost you anything???
