true, it does add pressure to suspension and bearings, but I havnt had any issues so far.

very nice I'm yet to commit to flares as i'm not sure about my fabrication skills V time on my dayly drive

Ordered the flares through Paddock but turns out the order failed for whatever reason. Even after i received an email telling me i would get my shipping quote and updated invoice from them. I sent several emails but no reply until finally i got a reply telling me (2 weeks later) that the order had failed and to re submit it. There goes my christmas plans if i cant get some asap So i emailed flatdog direct just a moment ago, fingers crossed they can help me out asap.

My first comparison is that with bigger tyres and bigger offset my disco handles fantastic on the road and off the road but these are still early days. It just feels to be more sure footed when cornering and when going through ruts and uneven terrain. Mine was set up from the word go to run 35's so with standard wheels and tyres it was very unstable and felt like a swift breeze would blow it over but now its almost screams bring it on.... Need a day off work so i can take it to Neerim and do some test runs on different terrain to see how it copes. I'll post as soon as i do it and hopefully pics too

when you say its set up to run 35's, do you mean 4.11's, coil and body lift etc. It would be fugly and drive horrible with all that and stocko wheels....

any pics now the flares are done

haven't got the cashola for the gears yet need to sell my harley first. but yeah its got 3" ironman suspension lift and 2" body lift high torque axles coun ty cv's heavy duty steering arms adjustable panhard rod. Its not liking hills but it loves mud holes now. Off road its better than i expected. I've got some pics in my album in my page dont know how to post it to a comment yet im still a newbie at this. Still need to fit my raked and strengthened rear trailing arms too

this is the latest pic of my baby. took it to work last night and actually found some mud.... lucky i wasnt in my work ute the poor ford would have been buried.. Hopefully you can see how much of the extended wheel arches i used with the-4.25% offset on those wheels.. It gives the disco a wider footprint and feels more stable than it did with the standard wheels/tyre pakage. Still makes you pucker up on certain angles but as time goes on i will get used to what is scarey and what is down right stupid, The main thing is on normal roads in normal conditions its as easy to drive as sedan and when you leave the black top behind it behaves great and goes just about anywhere
