Window switches
Hi, hope someone can help me with a small problem with the electric Window switches on a D1. The globes inside 2 of them are burnt out and I'm trying to find a way to replace them. Anyone done a LED replacement? Or is it just better to get a new switch.
PS: The switches work fine except the globes.
Cheers Luke

Luke, for what its worth I had a failure of one of my rear window switches. So I replaced it. A few days later the front LHS one went. So blow it, I bought the complete set of 4.
Reason I mention this is, mine is a 1995 model, chances are the switches are at the end of their life anyway.
Never get second hand units from the wrecker or anywhere else, because they are priced similar to new ones from the UK at the moment. Plus you're only putting in old worn out units anyway.

Thanks Brian,
Thought as much. Lazy Poms couldn't make a similar switch like the rear wiper/Fog light where the globes are an easy change. Could have got a set of 4 switches from Ebay. Cost was $9.95 I think, but passed as my switches still work.
