Thread: Roadworthy fail - Auto box low speed locking (D1 V8)

I've just had a call from the tester. I had asked him to check, and double check his diagnosis of knackered autobox, particularly asking to check whether the UJs were binding.

And that's what it was!

No dead box, no other horror, just a rear drive shaft that needed a bit of repositioning. What a ****load of stress for no reason.....

good to hear it wasn't anything serious perhaps it was SHEERLUCK!
