						Should be the same,
they both should have the 24 teeth spline, and same ratio and sizes.
DI Generation one had 10 teeth spline
DI Gen two had 24 teeth spline.
the change over was in 94. but Aussie did not see them till 95.
I think my build date is September 94 and i have a Gen two.
If you look at the interior, ie; dash and center console you will be able to clearly see which one it is.
All manufactures will make bitsa models to use up the spare parts, but these cars are sold in the home country and not normaly exported.
NZ is full of these imported 2nd hand from Japan. You can drive down the road and spot a car, "that didnt come out with that bumper" or "that doesnt look quite right".
The models with the 24 spline diffs will have the larger updated headlights also.
But as above the diff parts will swap between vehicles easily enough.
