    Wheeler Dealer Disco

    I just noticed that Wheeler Dealer on Foxtel are featuring a Discovery in their "upgrade for resale" series. (I'm running on the assumption here that it will be a Disco1 as they tend to do older vehicles that have potential to be picked up cheap and easily tidied to sell for a profit). I've previously watched (and recorded) the Series 3 and Defender programs so I've set to record the Disco one too - just for completeness rather than any personal interest.

    Thought you lot might like to know that Part 1 is scheduled to run this afternoon and Part 2 this evening. Check your Foxtel guides.

    I just watched Part 1. Ed runs through diagnosing "vague steering", checking all the tyre pressures, steering system ball joints and steering damper, adjusting the steering box play and finally diagnosing a faulty steering box. Replaces the steering box with a genuine part reconditioned one. Also cut short the front bumper and fitted a bash plate and a couple of diff protectors in the first effort of bringing it up to "expedition vehicle" looks.
    Looks like Part 2 will include fitting a snorkel, roof rack, off-road tyres and spotties. Be interesting if he also does a suspension lift.

    I have Part 1 recorded. Part 2 is actually on tomorrow evening and I have the Foxtel IQ box programmed to record that too.
