As far as I know there the same springs for the V8 and TDI. I don't know if there is any weight difference to give different heights.
i have recently got a d1 v8 so now i am stripping my d1 300tdi
will the front springs out of the tdi give me any extra hight if i put them in the front of the v8.

Hey Duffman,, take note of the differing springs rates RIGHT and LEFT--
not all aftermarket spring makers bother,,
but LR do.

It is different spring free lengths. rates are the same at 133Lbs whereas the Td1 is 150Lbs.Hey Duffman,, take note of the differing springs rates RIGHT and LEFT--
I am pretty sure theTdi fronts are the same as the 92 RRC backs , which are swapped to the front of a RRC to give 2inch lift.
