    front springs

    i have recently got a d1 v8 so now i am stripping my d1 300tdi
    will the front springs out of the tdi give me any extra hight if i put them in the front of the v8.

    As far as I know there the same springs for the V8 and TDI. I don't know if there is any weight difference to give different heights.

    Hey Duffman,, take note of the differing springs rates RIGHT and LEFT--
    not all aftermarket spring makers bother,,

    Hey Duffman,, take note of the differing springs rates RIGHT and LEFT--
    It is different spring free lengths. rates are the same at 133Lbs whereas the Td1 is 150Lbs.
    I am pretty sure theTdi fronts are the same as the 92 RRC backs , which are swapped to the front of a RRC to give 2inch lift.
