    Disco 1 Window problem

    Hey all,

    I own a 1996 discovery 1 v8i ES.
    I cannot drive it as I am a p plater for another 2 months so for the moment my dad is driving it...

    Today he accidentally wound down the rear drivers side window and without any noise at all it would not go back up... it also slips down and will not go up or down...I do not think it is the motor as i can still hear it winding... anyone know what is needed to fix this?

    If the motor is still running then it is probably the regulator (slide and raising mechanism) The nylon track wheels wear out and come out of the track. I have replaced all 4 on mine (now daughter's D1). A little fiddly but emminently DIY'able
