I was just browsing ebay today as I am buying some parts.
There is now available an alloy D1 radiator with plastic end tanks for $700.
Alloy radiators are usually more efficient than the old brass copper.
If you are interested and cannot find the seller ,PM me and I will give you the name. I deal with him often and find him great to deal with and he has an ebay shop and is a member here.
If the moderators don't object I can post the name so mods its up to you.

my '95 300TDi 380 manual has no gearbox cooler lines :o
the engine heat exchanger lines goes into the radiator .
Is that with you taking it out and refitting it? Or taking the car to him and him doing the lot?
Seems a bit pricey.
I got quoted $280 to have the tanks taken off mine and rodding out the channels to clean them. My core is in pretty good condition so doent need replacing. Is the core in yours buggered or just blocked up?
Hi guys, I think this guy is dear too, Ace, that price is with me taking it out and refitting. By the way, I had mine rodded about 3 years ago for $50 mates rates, should have been $100. Most places have quoted $650 - $750 for anew radiator. Also I have noticed that diesel rads are usually a lot cheaper.
I have been looking online at the possibility of buying a new one and they seem to be between 500-600 bucks new. Got quoted $280 to have mine rodded if I took it into him but there is only one radiator place in Bathurst so he can charge what he wants.
Can be had for about 90 pounds in the UK plus freight so im thinking of doing that also. About 100-140 pounds for freight though. Either way its still cheaper than $600 in aus.
