Is it the one in the middle of the window up and down switches or actually in the dash somewhere?

Ok, with no further clues, I'm going to guess it's the cruise control master switch.

ok cool thought teh one with the 2 skid marks was that lol its on the lower part main dash

I think its the cruise control switch

The skid mark one is the cruise control switch, it should however stay in when pushed.

hi thanx would u believe i went to landrover and they couldnt tell me exactly at the service and i went to spare parts and they told me it was cruise control but theres a switch beside it which has a ./ on it i am taking a pic tomorrow someone at the dealer said maybe hill descent but do they have that on a 94 ?
